Not only are schools failing in Little Rock but they are also failing across America. For nearly 40 years, there has been little improvement in American public schools. Despite everyone who has committed himself or herself to education reform and the millions of dollars that have been spent, American students’ reading and math skills continue to drop. Of 30 developed countries, America ranks 25th in math and 21st in science.
